aw man. that’s so sad to hear, but i remember feeling that way two years ago when i was living alone and my career plans weren’t working out… and it seemed like my loved ones were too caught up in their own lives to be bothered. i had to give up on some dreams and some friends and move on. these days i have a bf who i feel i depend on a bit too much because it’s hard to keep up with friendships and i would be so lost without him.

But hey, all you really have to do is leave those pricks behind and find the people who are genuinely worthwhile even if it takes a long time or is hard. One true friend can be all you need sometimes.
