Things I like (August 2008)

Posted by Aiko in Blog

  • Seeing myself on TV(Yay!)
  • Working with Japanese production
  •  Green Tea soy latte(I’m gay.)
  • Hand lotion that smells like lemon pie from bliss spa( I’m trying to get more female reader here by mentioning cosmetics and sarah Jessica parker. That’s basically all they need to hear.)
  • Baby vegi.(baby onions, baby carrots, You feel like barbarians eating them cus they are so tiny.)
  • Babywipes. If you have ocd, to go out without babywipes is like wrestling without jockstraps.
  •  Reading your comment, I’m so lucky to have you all. You never judge my opinions.
  • To enjoy everything and put 100 percent to it. If I had a bad day, I will enjoy my blue feeling by listening Under the bridge by Red hot chill peppers.( That song is so depressing, when I’m done listing to it, I feel like I overdosed, got arrested, went to rehab and come out and dedicate my life as yogi wearing white kimono.)  If I had a good day, I will pamper the hell out of myself. I will get foot massage, flowers, cook me fancy dinner with candles as if my ass is going to get laid.
  • my privacy.
  • freedom
  • myself
  • money
  • Jesus
  • shopping
  • banana soymilk shake
  • natto

o…I was half aslep writing this to you, as you can tell, it was getting shallow. It’s time for me to go to bed now. Night my beautiful children.

    * Nothing wrong with seeing yourself on TV ,but remember not to overexpose yourself and lose your privacy and sanity. Do you think it would be fun to see yourself in every book, new segment, tabloid/gossip papers every 10 minutes??? Just think everytime you are eating, dating, or at the beach, somebody with a cam in your face. (think Britney Spears, Nicole Ritchie, and the Olsen Twins…)

    * Japanese production is fly. They seem to always have fun, and not be so “uppity”

    * Green Tea soy latte, Hand lotion that smells like lemon pie from bliss spa, Baby vegi, and Babywipes, are all good, pleasant and necccessary to a woman.

    * You can’t always judge the next person’s opinions. Sometimes, opinons are good. Othertimes, they are not so good, but remember that I said that “an opinion is forever an opinion.” Sometimes, I forget that..

    * “Under the bridge” is therapy for you? So be it. Everyone their personal “feeling down song” I don’t really have one. I just like anything that I very musical.

    * Freedom is a human right and need, right along with free will. Capitalism and slavery is for those has no individual mind and self-identity. Dictatorship doesn’t really belong in the hands of governments.

    * A woman has to love herself at all times. If she doesn’t, then that means she needs to find out the reason why, and change something about herself…

    * Who doesn’t love money? We love it, but we can’t let it control everything in our lives. Have you ever noticed that people who always talk about money all the time, are not really smart or happy? They are miserable, so they expect money to make them feel special and happy. That doesn’t make them happy.
After the money is spent, they are back miserable again, and if you mess with them, they will make you miserable. Whatever you are when you are broke, is the same thing you will be when you have money. Even if you got alot of money.

    * It’s very relieving to know that some people do believe in Jesus. I don’t really knock what other people believe, but Christianity is the path for me.

    * All pretty spoiled babies love shopping and banana soymilk shake!!

    * Ummn…. I tried natto. I don’t hate it but, I don’t really get down with it. It’s not really my thing. We are individuals.

Yay, I like natto too. I like it plain over rice, w/furikake. Or sometimes with just the little mustardy stuff that comes with it.

Furikake, I love tamago and tarako. natto is very aqauired taste, my mom can’t stand it because she’s from kansai. I was born and raised in Tokyo, Mitaka (Kanto) so I love natto.

Oh tamago is good too, I will try it with tarako. Do you like yamakake don? I eat it at home and I make these disgusting slurping sounds. It’s nice on a rainy day.

Yes, even Anthony Bourdain, the guy who eats anything doesn’t like natto. In “Cook’s Tour” he wrote about it served to him at a mountain inn and said it was like “goat rectum”. Last night’s “No Reservatiopns” show he was in Tokyo and Morimoto took him to a great soba place…now I’m craving soba.

I love yamakake. It makes my mouth itchy when I eat though. I’m not crazy bout soba. I love ramen. I like the name ra-men. sounds like it can save the world.

Ramen sounds like a powerful warrior. There is actually a record company in america called “Fueled by Ramen”.
