Obama for prez

Posted by Aiko in Blog

One thing I admire about this country is “patriotism.”  In Japan, we have  prime ministers.  Also, we have an emperor. (Tennou Heika.) That’s the highest position. I like how this country really”unite” and talk about politics, turn into news for debates. We all have hope. We all hope he can change. We have freedom of speech. That’s the other great quality we have here. But lately,  we are going too far. I don’t care if someone think my ears are too small. I will live with it. But there was so many post by a individual leaving rude comments towards M and A. I do care about them. I HATE when someone write hurtful comments to the others.  My webmaster will delete them. Because all my fans are awesome. I love you guys very much and you deserve the best. No need to bash each other you know? This is just Aiko Tanaka.com.  It’s not serious like ” You have deadly sharp object stuck in your ass and can’t get that shit out.com” or ” This is so serious so let’s get married tommorow with no pre-up signed and get you pregnat by end of this year.com.” I do read all your comments. You guys make me smile. Most of time. So, please lets keep it simple, be nice to each other.

Doumo goshinsetsu ni arigatou! I don’t think your ears are too small. You have the God-given right to see things your way, as an individual and human being. (we need more aiko hime videos.. hayaku!!!)

I am proud that we have Obama. We blacks came along way from slavery to entertainment to now having presidents. It’s an honor to live and see history being made, but people are acting like Obama is a god, or some kind of saviour to us now. I’m not hating on him, but people acting like we won the lottery! I’m not really too happy or exicted, because I’m thinking, “What is he going to do for us now?? Is he gonna be suzushii to yahashii? Or is he gonna warui to hidoi yatsu??? He said alot of good things, but can he back them up?”

Ore no kangae/kimochi wakarimasu ne? People need to keep in mind that he is a human being like the rest of us. We need to see what is he is really going to do for us. You pick the right words. “Unite” and “patriotism.” We still don’t have true unity. We have a long ass way to go for unity! Racism is still here, and alot of white people are very mad about having a black person over them as president.

We all hope and freedom of speech, but we are really losing our freedom of speech now. Remember when people went to jail for talking about Bush?

Aaron: Nope don’t remember when people went to jail for “talking” about Bush. Can you please clarify, cuz on the surface, it seems like a pretty reckless comment.

Bart: I’m talking mostly about those who protest, or made idle and empty theats. And for the record, I don’t make reckless comments. How are you doing, Bart? I wasn’t really expecting a debate or challenge on this, but I hope this site can clarify something.

Yeah I feel some people went a bit overboard with the celebrations following Obama’s win, sure he probably be an improvement on Bush (not that hard), but he is only human and has a tough job ahead of him, somehow I think people will inevitably be disapointed by him.

“You have deadly sharp object stuck in your ass and can’t get that shit out”
Are you speaking from experience Aiko? I imagine it would be rather awkward explaining that to a doctor.

Also are Japanese girls like japanese cars, cause i need a girl that is reliable, not too expensive or too big and does not deteriate with age.

Who cares about Obama. Lewis Hamilton became last weekend the youngest (and afro) Formula One world champion ever in the final corner of the race. Yeah! But I have to admit it has been a great week for the brothers:D

PS: Aiko, I think it’s your maternal/”pitbull in a skirt” instincts that make me keep returning to this blog:) It still feels like a warm and friendly place, but I of course admire your extra efforts to keep it that way, especially since I have big ears…

    hey Aiko

I agree with you. I’m Canadian, but i have American friends who were affected by the election directly. I mean i am affected as well, since US is the strongest Nation in the world. But when my American friends start to be-little each other, and almost to the point of calling each other names. I wonder if that was all worth it? Even when the election is over. Can we focus on the present - and work together? I understand that people are entitled to their own opinion and i respect that, but a person should do it constructively. What’s done is done. Put that anger away…. anyways..rambling just a bit..just a little bit.
